The best Ive found

Since Apple removed RSS reader from mail, this is the best I found.

Updated from 2.87 to 2.88. Now all of my feeds are gone. More importantly, my flagged items are gone! The only way to fix it is: First, trash the 2.88 app, then reinstall Shrook 2.87 (if you can find one on i-net.

like it

I like that you can review the feed before reading the whole item.

I exported the OPML file from Feedly and many of the sites/URLs were not recognized. I organized several folders and started reading. Shrook took a time out, recalibrated something and now many of the folders are gone. I think this still needs some work. I will stick with Feedly and/or AOL for the time being. I hope they can develop and imporove Shrook as it seems to hold promise. Not for me as of yet!

Been looking for a decent RSS reader for some time now and I have to say that this is probably one of the best. Also its 10.6 compatible, unlike most others that you find on the Mac app store! Two thumbs up!

Awesome app

Awesome! It does exactly what it says easily! Very useful app. I love it!

The layout is exactly what I want, which is why it is incredibly frustrating for it to fail me when I need it. Shrook automatically deletes all of the feeds I subscribe to everytime the app closes. If there is a fix for this, I would greatly appreciate the help, thanks. But unless someone can provide such a fix, I won’t be using this app ever again. Way too much trouble to add feeds every time I open the app...

The price says “free” and at no point did I ever see that this was a “free trial.” But, after 30 days, I was required to either pay $19.95 a year or go month to month. No thanks.
